Through its singular shape, the building invits its users into 4 different landscapes for the main functions of the program: the reception area, the playground, the services area and the rest area. Nicolas Laisné and Dimitri Roussel designed a highschool able to evolve with the transformation of teaching practices.
Transitional spaces have been treated as extensions of classrooms to enable new uses: spontaneous meeting and working spaces.
With its solid local base, the structure of the project is realized with wood from neighbouring forests. The ambition of this bioclimatic architecture is to raise awarness about environmental issues among students.
